Question

Asked by: ricky martin llorca
Subject: reading of position & angles by gyroscope
Question: hi, how can i exactly transfer the position, angulation and inclination of a post planned in a 3D image to a model cast by using gyroscope.
for example; im planning to place a post (in the middle of a stent) pointed to east 15 deg. and then south
20 deg. in a 3D image.
(stent- a square plane with 4 post at the corner as reference guide.)
how will i transfer a point with 15 deg. east; 20 deg. south readings to a model cast by
using gyroscope?
im thinking of gyroscope should be based thru the post of stent as orientation.
then this gyroscope should have a stylus as pointer then equipped with compass to
transfer the readings. then this stent+ gyroscope should be transfer to the model cast.
does my idea make sense or will it work? thank you, ricky
