Subject: Gyroscope in a enclosed motorcycle
Question: I would like to make an enclosed motorcycle where I will not be able to steady the bike using my feet the bike will be intended for straight line use (Drag racing) the back tire will be wide and will help keep the bike upright when it is not moving forward but I would lie to use a gyro to help ensure it dosent fall over on the starting line
Do you think this will work? and how large of a gyro wheel will be needed and at what rpm should it operate? I am open to all thoughts on this subject

 To keep the bike upight the fly wheel would have to be too huge and heavy or spinning extreamly fast. It would be too weight prohibative. also It would waste HP to spin it. Build a small scale model motorcycle of scale weight with a toy gyroscope in it and see what you are in for.

I did and it would not stay up right. It would just fall over.

Besides I bet it wouldn't be allowed by the tech inspectors at the track.

why not just retractable landing gear?
