Question

Asked by: Mick Corrigan
Subject: Gyroscopic Stabilizer
Question: A gyroscope is fixed to a platform balancing on a pole and spinning on a horizontal axis. A given weight {pressure} is applied to the edge of the platform. What mass does it have to be and what velocity does the gyroscope have to spin to resist that weight and remain upright and not fall? Can you tell me the formula in layman's terms, I'm not that smart. Thanks
