Sensitivity of a gyroscope |
Question: |
I read somewhere that the sensitivity of an analog gyroscope is measured in mill-Volts per degree per second (mV/degree/second).
However, I wanted to a digital gyro, and so I came across the ITG-3200. Its datasheet specifies the sensitivity scale factor (simply, sensitivity, i think, correct me if I am worng) as 14 LSB/degree/second..
Does this mean that 14 LSB corresponds to the voltage measured for one degree per second? If no, please explain what it does mean.
Thanks,
A. |
