Question

Asked by: Anthony Joseph
Subject: Minimum Angular Momentum
Question: What should be the minimum angular momentum for a disc with a certain fixed Moment of inertia and a certain frictional torque acting about its precession axis? Since a slow spinning disc does not precess according to the theoretical equation available which says that precession velocity increases to infinity with decrease in spin velocity. Could anyone please help me get a quantitative value for this?
Thank You!
