A QUESTON involving the condition of a gyroscope overhanging a pedestal or tower
Statement: When extra weight is added to the gyroscope it will precess faster as it also falls to the table faster.
Question: If extra weight is added, while also spinning up the flywheel faster with an attached motor what happens?
1.) Does it precess at the same speed, yet fall faster?
2.) Does it precess faster, without falling faster?
3.) Is angular momentum and leverage (torque as in applied weight downward) capable of being balanced to each other so as to have no different effect no matter whether slow-to- light-weight, or fast-to- heavy-weight?
