| Nitro is a regular visitor here and will see anything you wish to post.
There are several of us that would also like to see the 1937 demo. Have you got anything to back it up?
"Arabs back in the sand"? Sounds like something my grandad used to say (God rest his soul), from when he was a desert rat (2nd WW).
Even so, comments like that are liable to upset people.

| Dear Dave S
Apologies to anyone upset at my insensitive comments about Arabs. Oil is a
source of energy and if it becomes a dirty substance once again, they and
the blue-eyed versions in the tar-sands of Alberta will have to get
creative.
The film was shown to me several times in 1966. The owner has since died
and a lot of promise died with him.
I am left with a notion that if I had a gyro driven by an electric (hydro)
motor on the bottom end of the vertical axis - that if I had a device that
would pull the top end of axis off vertical I would harness gravity to
propel the box encasing the whole appartus in a lateral motion with
considerable force - much like the airforce fellow carrying such a device
as outlined by one of your fellows.
Having no engineering capabilities, I have been left to wonder all these
years. It seems so obvious and too easy. What am I missing?
Thanks for your patience
Clive

| Clive,
It occurred to me that you maybe replying to the e-mail rather than on the web page. I’ve been meaning to update the e-mail that gets sent when people respond. I’ll make a note to change this sooner rather than later.
