I had seen a demonstration on a bbc sience program where the large wheel was put on a shaft and spun at quite a high speed of rotation and although two or three men would have been needed to lift it opne man lifted thhis weight above his head with little or no effort.
Centrelpedial and centrafugal forces act on a spinning object with equal effect until the rotation of the object is such that it is effected by other gravitional effects.
