Question

Asked by: ME boiler student
Subject: Gimbaled Gyroscopes resistance to movement
Question: I'm working on a project as part of my Mechanical Engineering sophomore design class. as part of my design I was making a resistance device using a gyro. I'm thinking of using a gimbaled gyro so that a torque can only be applied in one direction (perpendicular) to the axis of rotation. my question is this.. what would the equation be to find the resistive force put out by the gyro. thanks for the help, I hope to get a response in time!
