Question

Asked by: Daniel
Subject: Best Gyroscope under $50
Question: Hello to everyone,
I'm looking for the best gyroscope for under $50. I'm largely interested in liesure experimenting, that is I won't be doing any ground breaking experiments. I simply enjoy playing with gyroscopes and figure it's high time I got myself a decent one.
While I would love to have the precision machined gyroscope featured on this site, I simply can't justify (logically or or experimentally...that is looking at my wallet) spending that much on what will be used as a toy for me. So I'm in search of the highest quality gyro I can get for around $50 US. Gimbals would definately be nice, but if they're not included I could bodge some together I'm sure.

I've found a couple and would like some oppinions, the first few look to be some serious gyros, the third is even a little over what I"m looking to spend. The last is a toy, for sure, but It's got to be better than those metal ones that run about $6.

And I would of course love to be linked to any other gyros you think might suit my needs.

Thanks in advance for any help!

All the ones you picked out are not of great quality. I used to sell the gimballed ones and they were quite poor. The rotor had a habbit of rusting and the bearings were just plain bearings.

The best toy gyroscope is http://www.gyroscope.com/d.asp?product=GYROTOP

and if you can afford these are the best
