Gyroscopoic Inertia is one of two main features of gyroscope.
Gyro Inertia is the property that permits a gyroscope to maintain its axis of spin and resist any change in the direction of its axis of spin.

The examples of this gyroscopic inertia is, simply a spinning top, which doesn't falls when it is spinning at high speeds, but as soon as the speed of spin of this top decreases, i.e. it is not sufficient enough to keep the gyroscope in upright rotating form, it falls down.

Other examples of gyroscopic inertia are, gyro compasses, Computer pointing devices, heading instrument, attitude instrument in aircrafts etc.

If you want some more detailed information about gyroscope, it is available on microsoft encrata, and encyclopaedia britannica. Online versions of both of these encyclopaedias are available.

Thank you
