Truck or automobile wheel or possibly turbine wheel |
Question: |
If you were to make a frame for a motorcycle engine and wheel and lengthen the frame to put a gyroscope
in the middle of the frame and then a driver's seat in front of that with a single wheel in the front and an enclosed
body over the whole thing and a total weight of say 2000 pounds, could automobile wheels or big truck wheels,
with an electric motor to spin them up, be used to stabilize the vehicle so that you do not have to put a foot or
outrigger wheel down? If it is possible, then, what size motor or rpm would be neccessary to get it to produce
the necessary gyroscopic effect? |
