Question: what is an earth gyro? does this type of gyro uses in aircraft as a artifical horizon or directional gyro?

 earth gyro....

A GYRO WITH TWO GIMBALS HAVING FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT OF IN THREE PLANES BUT CONTROLLED BY GRAVITY.

SPIN AXIS IS CONSTRAINED BY GRAVITY TO REMAIN EARTH VERTICAL.

EXAMPLE IS ARTIFICIAL HORIZON (AH).
