gyroscopes providing downforce in weight training |

Dear all
Please can anybody tell me if it would be at all possible to have a bar or device with electrically powered gyroscope fitted, which could provide downforce which can be increased or decreased according to the speed at which the gyroscope is spinning. This could be an economical and space saving alternative to weight plates etc. |

I hope you found some answers to your questions by now. I would suggest going to www.dynaflex-intl.com to see some weight training devices. I have not spoken to them, but I am sure their products could be adapted for your use.
I have been looking for something similar for industrial use. If you find anything like that, please forward to me.
