Subject: how would a gyroscope act in space?
Question: Ok I was reading all the weight factors on a gyroscope and have a working knowlage of them. How would they act in a weighless state? And would it spin longer?

 Assuming no friction it would theoretically spin forever. I am really talking about a flywheel with no frame. However gravitational forces solar winds and possibly other things could come into play. Look at the moon for instance. Notice how you never see its back side? That’s because it rotates at the exact same rate as it orbits the earth i.e. it is tidally locked to the earth.
