Subject: Different between one and three axis gyro or accelerometer
Question: Would like to find out what is the different between a single and three axis gyro or accelerometer, is there any two axis type for them? what they measure(eg attitude, distance or speed) for these different type of axis (for single, two and three axis gyro/accelerometer)

 One and three axis gyros could refer to the gimbles. These axis could also refer to a single gyro as opposed to an array of three orthogonal gyros.
