A Bicycle wheel gyroscope is really easy to make. Firstly find a front wheel from a small bicycle or ideally a BMX bicycle (20 inch wheels). You can’t use large wheels because you can’t wrap you arms round easily and children simply won’t be able to. The front wheel of the bicycle already has bearings in and you will find a short threaded shaft coming out of the centre from each side (this is what connects to the forks of the bicycle). All you need to do is create two rods from wood or metal to screw onto the short shafts (about a foot long???). This simply allows people to grip it properly. Then all you need to do is spin the wheel using your one hand.
